This recipe includes turmeric as one of it’s ingredients. Turmeric contains curcumin, which has recently been shown to be beneficial to fighting Alzheimer’s disease.
Save your heart and save your brain, all at the same time!
| Ingredients |
- 8 oz blanched almonds
- 2 Tbsp mango chutney
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp curry powder

| Instructions |
- Pre-heat oven to 350F.
- Combine mango chutney, turmeric & curry powder in a bowl.
- Add the almonds and stir well to ensure they are evenly coated with the chutney-spice mix.
- Spread the almonds onto a non-stick baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
- Spread almonds onto plates to cool.
